There are only four games remaining in the regular season and I thought it would be a good time to compile a list of freshmen who will not redshirt this season and see where everyone else in the 2023 class stands.

Players can appear in up to four games before burning their redshirt season. In theory, every freshman who has not appeared in a game could receive playing time starting this weekend and not lose a year of eligibility.

However, Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian is intentional regarding playing time and will not disrupt his rotation unless he believes an athlete needs to be on the field.

Longhorn freshmen who have appeared in more than four games

WR Johntay Cook II (7 games)
LB Anthony Hill Jr. (7 games)
LB Liona Lefau (7 games)
DB Malik Muhammad (7 games)
RB Tre Wisner (7 games)
RB CJ Baxter (6 games, 2 starts)
DB Jelani McDonald (6 games)
DB Derek Williams Jr. (6 games)
