Last Saturday, a tMB member's wife and four children were in an accident in Gainesville, Florida that claimed the lives of the wife/mother and their 3-year-old baby girl. Three of the other children were listed in critical condition until yesterday, when two of them were finally moved from PICU. However, his 9-year-old daughter is still in pretty bad shape; she's had multiple surgeries already but faces many more.
I can't even fathom what the father is going through right now, but this young family is hurting badly, and they are facing many tough medical and personal battles ahead, so tMB members as they so often do - much like OB members - have stepped up to try to help alleviate a bit of the immediate financial burden.
