Well, it seems as if @Serenity Douglas dropped us high and dry after the NCAA Indoor T&F championships in March (to pursue much better career opportunities). So, it's up to the rest of us to provide previews and updates as our Men's and Women's teams compete for individual and team titles in Eugene, OR.
Broadcast schedule:
Event Flash results:
EUGENE, Ore. – The biggest stage is set for the No. 2/1 Texas men's and women's track and field teams.
With the most entries of any university on both teams and combined, Texas is ready for the national stage at Hayward Field.
The Longhorns No. 2 men's team begin the competition on Wednesday in the men's decathlon and Leo Neugebauer. 15 Texas entries will be in action as nine rank in the top-10 of the NCAA.
Both Micaiah Harris (200m) and Tripp Piperi (shot put) lead the nation heading into their events on Wednesday night. Jonathan Jones joins the group as the No. 2 time in the 400m this season, while leading the men's 4x400 team.
A historic season for the Longhorns will continue as the Horns get to work early, while the No. 1 women's team begin competition on Thursday.
With an NCAA-leading 18 entries, Texas has 11 of the 18 qualifying marks with scoring potentials and 14 ranked in the top-10 of their events.
The women have led the country in the 4x100 ever since the Texas Relays, led by Julien Alfred who's taken the 100m by storm this season with the fastest collegiate time ran in 2022.
The short sprints will be well-represented by burnt orange as two or more Texas women are ranked in the top-six of the 100m, 200m and the 400m.
ESPN3 will broadcast the first half of every day's field events, while ESPNU will take over later on the track.
