My daughter is applying within her company to manage a new high rise apartment property being built at 321 West 6th. This is supposed to be a premier property. That said, I am worried that part of 6th might be unsafe these days for a 20 something young professional woman.
I haven’t been to Austin in many years outside of games. When there for games we stayed outside the area and were dropped off for games. I haven’t done 6th street in decades. I am not familiar with this part of 6th street so I need to see how safe it would be for her to live and work there.
She doesn’t have the job yet but has an interview coming up and she wants to understand the area and issues they she have to deal with. Any input from those in the know would be appreciated. As a Dad, I just want to know it isn’t freak city like described further down 6th.
