Gents - I'm in the process of negotiating an employment agreement for a new role. The contract has a fairly broad 2 year non-compete subsequent to termination. My understanding was that the new FTC rule effectively prohibits new non-competes, even for executive positions. Is that right? This is in Texas if it matters.
