OT: Quick Question on Generac Natural Gas Generators

I am closing on a home on Tuesday. I asked the current owner not to disconnect utilities and I would just switch them to my name. She had already had them turned off.

The home has a natural gas generator and my question is - will not having gas to the unit be a problem when it came on once they shut the electricity off?

Any help appreciated.
