Our Maltese dog is getting hard to manage. She's very sweet, has heart failure which we are treating with a heart drug. Problem is, she is deaf, going blind, and is having trouble controlling her bladder. Otherwise, she runs around like a puppy, still eats and drinks well.
How do you know when it's time to put your dog down?
I know we have a lot of dog owners on OB who have been through this. Any advice is welcome from those who have been through this type of situation.
