OT: Vrbo rentals and Lake Travis Area

My brother in law wants to take a family trip this summer. He found a rental property on Lake Travis through Vrbo. First, I never heard of Vrbo. Does anyone have any experience renting through them? The link below is to the property he wants to rent for a week. Second, what would you recommend for a family ( 17 people, ages 9 to 73) outings in the Lake Travis area?
