We are leaving Saturday and driving to Lake Charles for a night. Driving to N.O. Sunday morning. I am an old and not going to drive straight through without stopping. For the ones who have driving this route what are some of the best stopping points along the way. (Gas, snacks, bathroom, Buc-ees type). Really no need for restaurants since I will be saving that part for N.O. food. Looking at the I-10 route thinking about stops at Lafayette and Baton Rouge.
