It was bound to happen with only a four team playoff: a P5 school, who won their Championship, would be left out. Will this go anywhere? No, because the litigation will last into next season when there’s going to be 12 schools in the playoff. It’s only posturing and a waste of time and taxpayer dollars. Strength of schedule, key player injuries and the conference championship “eye test” all play roles in the committee’s decision. What’s done is done and FSU didn’t look the part against Louisville.
