UT lost 5 games by a total of 25 points. They lost to Washington, TCU and OSU by 7, Tech by 3 and Bama by 1. Texas was literally was 9 or 10 bad plays away from an undefeated season. That is with a freshman starting at QB and two freshmen starting at O-line. In addition, its my view that UT got the worst calls by the Zebras that I've seen in 60 years of watching the Horns.
With 10 starters returning on offense, there should be more consistency and fewer mental mistakes this year. The defense should also be a level better this year if UT can find a second edge rusher and a LB to pressure the QB. It also appears that there is a lot better depth across the board.
Sark has got to improve the passing game and its my view Sanders and Whitt need more targets.. If Neyor lives up to expectations, Ewers should be surrounded by the best skill position players that UT has produced in a long time. The season needs to hurry up and get here.
