Coach Matt Couch is the University of Texas Baseball strength and conditioning coach and his little guy Carter was a joy to be around and a huge fan of his Longhorn baseball team. He tragically passed away last summer before his 3rd birthday. The Couch family loves remembering and celebrating Carter and bringing joy to other children with toys for Christmas, we delivered over 1,000 toys last year to the participants of RBI Austin and hope to increase that this year. RBI Austin supports Austin youth and was started to engage and develop inner-city Austin youth athletically, academically, and spiritually, empowering them to lead the transformation of their communities.
RBI Austin connects kids to mentor relationships, make sports affordable, develop youth players and provide Austin youth an outlet through sports. RBI Austin supports Austin youth and families from 4-18. In 2022, RBI Austin served 1,577 kids in the local area for both baseball and softball as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and is funded 94% through contributions from individual donors, foundations and corporate sponsors.
