Former TCU defensive end Ochaun Mathis is getting closer to deciding his next destination spot.

Mathis announced on Twitter that he would attend Nebraska’s spring game on April 9. According to HuskerOnline publisher Sean Callahan, Nebraska needs a pass rusher and Mathis has been a key target since entering the transfer portal.

However, Mathis took an official visit to Texas in early March. Here is what I reported on March 7: “It looks like the visit of TCU defensive end Ochaun Mathis went extremely well on Sunday. I was told Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian knocked it out of the park during Mathis' unofficial visit this past weekend. A family member who escorted Mathis on the visit told me, “We had some comical laughs, and meeting coach Sark was enlightening and homemade! That is how you need to feel when you go and meet coaches and he did just that."

It appears Texas will have the opportunity to secure Mathis’ commitment in April.

According to my sources, Mathis is in the process of setting up an official visit to Texas, with the ideal date of April 15-17. Mathis is currently in a college internship program and will work around his job. At worst, Mathis will wait until the weekend of the spring game (April 23) if the previous weekend provides a scheduling conflict.

Regardless, as of Thursday afternoon, Mathis intends to give Texas the final opportunity to obtain him.

The race for Mathis is between Nebraska and Texas. USC, Penn State, and Ole Miss were the teams on his original top five list. Based on multiple conversations I had with sources, Texas is currently the team to beat.

I was told previously told Mathis would like to play for a program in Texas but was not opposed to traveling outside the state.

Mathis, a two-time All-Big 12 selection, entered the transfer portal at the beginning of January. He started in 34 games for the Horned Frogs and recorded 135 tackles, including seven for loss and four sacks in 2021. Before that, Mathis led the team with nine sacks and ranked second with 14 tackles for loss during the 2020 season.

Former TCU coach Gary Patterson is currently on Texas’ staff. The Mathis family is not basing their decision on having a familiarity with Patterson. However, Patterson’s presence on Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian’s staff is a bonus for the Longhorns.

In addition, Mathis would have a great opportunity to start at Texas. Mathis’ goal is to play for a defense that allows him to rush the passer. He is seemingly confident that will occur in Pete Kwiatkowski’s defense.

Unless Mathis makes a last-minute decision to visit another school after Texas, he is expected to make a college choice not long after visiting the 40 Acres. There is a strong possibility Mathis will announce his decision in April.

I will keep you posted.

Here is some information we were able to gather about various players this week:

RB Bijan Robinson – The running back told us on Thursday he was fully cleared for practice last month after dislocating his elbow injury late in the third quarter during a loss against Kansas last season. Robinson told us when the injury occurred, he tried to pop the elbow back in place. Of course, after the adrenaline wore off, Robinson said he was in pain for several days.

RB Jaydon Blue – Robinson told us Blue has been aggressive during practice. In addition, Roschon Johnson and Robinson are mentoring the freshman running back.

QB Quinn Ewers – He continues to impress his teammates. Ewers was praised for his leadership abilities and laid-back personality. Whittington described Ewers as a surfer when asked about his quarterback.

QB Hudson Card – Sarkisian wanted Card to emerge into a vocal leader last season. So far, Card has been more vocal during spring practice than he was in 2021. We were told Card verbalizes what he wants his teammates to accomplish during practice. In addition, Card has displayed consistency during practice.

Running backs coach Tashard Choice – We were told the transition from Stan Drayton and gone well. Robinson and Choice have formed a bond and share Bible verses every day. Choice life weights and works out with the players.

In addition, Drayton was described as a technician who was soft-spoken. Choice is energetic, more vocal, and enjoys playing music to create a lively atmosphere.

CB Ryan Watts – The first-year player’s name was mentioned a lot this week. Watts was praised for his size and ability to apply pressure to receivers. So far, Watts has lived up to all the expectations from everyone inside the building after transferring from Ohio State.

CB Jahdae Barron – He has been described as a defensive back with great feet. In addition, Barron was praised for the extra work he is putting in outside of practice.

WR Casey Cain – He was praised for his attention to detail. Whittington said Cain tries to do everything the right way and he grasps every concept.

C Jake Majors – The offensive lineman has emerged into a vocal leader who has made his presence felt during spring practice.

TE Jahleel Billingsly – He was described as a receiver in a big body. In addition, Sarkisian praised his tight end for being very physical during practice.

DE Justice Finkley – Even though he has only been on campus since January, the freshman has been praised for his ability to rush the passer and strength. Everyone within the program is excited about his potential.

It’ll be another active weekend for Texas on the recruiting front, with a number of the staff’s top 2023 targets expected to make their way to Austin on Saturday for another round of unofficial visits. One UT source described this weekend as much bigger than last weekend, where the visitors were predominantly focused around offensive linemen and some quarterback/tight end tandem from Louisiana, so I’d expect this list to grow (the guys below have directly confirmed they’ll be in attendance).

RB Cameron Cook - Round Rock Stony Point – Plans to narrow his focus soon (Texas will make the cut). Has visits to Ole Miss, Penn State and Oregon he plans on hitting as well and recently visited Baylor. He seems pretty open at this point but told OB recently he really relates well with Tashard Choice and they talk several times each week.

RB Rueben Owens – El Campo – You all know the score here. Texas is in a great position for the Rivals100 member, but there will probably be some twists and turns in this one. Land Arch, and Texas probably gets Owens too, although Owens did tell OB recently that it’s no guarantee that they’ll play together.

RB Tre Wisner – Waco Connally – He’s another guy who has really connected with Tashard Choice and he’s another guy who could be an attractive option to pair with a guy like Owens. Feels like Texas has some ground to make up here.

WR Braylon James – Del Valle – I’m leaving James on the list since he had told us previously he’d be in, but after he visited UT last weekend I’ll be surprised if he shows up. James told OB this week that he’ll be announcing a commitment very, very soon. Notre Dame has generated the most buzz, but Texas has done a really good job in this one in the last couple months.

WR Jaquaize Pettaway – Langham Creek – One of the top players on the board, Pettaway is a priority target but he’s a tough guy to read since he doesn’t offer up much information. With someone that’s as tight-lipped as Pettaway is, we’re forced to read between the lines a bit, so just getting him on campus is a big development for Texas.

WR Johntay Cook – DeSoto – The always personable Cook was just on campus last week to meet with the coaches and then participate in the Texas Relays, so it’s a nice back-to-back showing for Texas here. Cook is fairly open but I still think this one comes down to either Texas or Texas A&M, and I’d favor the Longhorns right now.

WR Jonah Wilson – Spring Dekaney – Brennan Marion offered him at Pitt and when Marion offered him at Texas, Wilson told OB he’d always wanted that one. He’s also intrigued by schools like Ohio State and LSU.

WR Kyle Parker – Lucas Lovejoy – He recently visited Penn State, will be in Austin this weekend and then it’s off to Mississippi State for a visit. Louisville and Arkansas are also in play here but this feels like one that could fall Texas’ way if Marion continues to push the right buttons.

TE Lafayette Kaiuway - Arlington Sam Houston – He really likes North Carolina after a recent visit there but Kaiuway is a regular visitor to UT any time the staff hosts recruits. That’s usually a pretty telling sign.

DL Samu Taumanupepe – Atascocita – When I last talked to Taumanupepe on the phone, he was thrilled about picking up the UT offer. Oregon was another school that he really liked a lot. This weekend’s visit should give us a better handle on where things stand.

DL Jaren Woods – La Grange – He’s been a tough guy for me to track down so I’ll be interested to hear what he has to say following this weekend’s visit. A teammate of Bravion Rogers’, so Texas bettering its position with Woods could help there as well.

DE Desmond Umeozulu – Springdale (MD) Flowers – A cousin of Texas signee Neto Umeozulu (and 2024 target Zina Umeozulu), Texas has an automatic in here.

DE Dylan Spencer – Houston C.E. King – Texas commitment – He was a bit of a surprise commitment for the Longhorns earlier this month. Spencer’s another guy who kind of keeps to himself so we’ll have to see what he says after this visit, but there’s no reason to think he’s anything less than solid.

LB S’Maje Burrell – North Crowley – This makes back-to-back UT visits for Burrell, who told OB this week that he was looking to have a decision soon. Needless to say, Texas is in a good spot here.

LB Brad Spence – Klein Forest – He recently told OB that schools like Texas, Arkansas, Texas A&M, OU and SMU were among the schools that were after him the hardest. He’s been to UT for a game and a junior day and told us he has a strong relationship with Jeff Choate.

LB Anthony Hill – Denton Ryan – One of the best players in the entire country, Hill’s been a regular visitor for Texas but it’s been a while since he’s been on campus. Getting him around some of the other linebackers that will be in attendance should help because some of those guys want to play together.

LB Braylan Shelby - Friendswood – He’s a guy I’ve been meaning to check in with, so this weekend will be a perfect opportunity to gauge his feelings about Texas.

LB Payton Pierce – Lucas Lovejoy (2024)

LB Kennon Loftin – Laurel (MS) West Jones High School

DB Javien Toviano – Arlington Martin – One of the country’s top overall prospects, Toviano really enjoyed his January visit to Texas for a junior day. Getting him back on campus as often as possible is key for the Longhorns, so this weekend is another step in the right direction.

DB Tyler Turner – San Antonio Brennan – A recent decommitment from Baylor, Turner has quite a few options and Texas should have an advantage over most schools in proximity. We’ll see if that matters after Saturday’s visit.

DB Jamel Johnson – Arlington Seguin – Texas commitment - Johnson recently told OB that he plans to take all five of his visits, so the more times the UT staff can get him on campus the better.

DB Jordan Matthews – Baton Rouge Woodlawn – Texas and Texas A&M are high on his list. LSU hasn’t offered, but that could shake things up if that changes.

We mentioned in the football recruiting thread earlier in the week that LB Derrion Gullette was likely to visit UT on Thursday, and the Manvel standout did in fact make it in to meet with the Texas coaches. It was a pretty big visit for Gullette, who was bummed out that he couldn’t really get any time with the UT staff last weekend when he was on campus for Texas Relays due to NCAA rules.

Up next, Gullette will hit Alabama on April 2 and LSU on April 3. A stop at A&M on April 9 is a possibility, as is a return for UT’s spring game.

Gullette stays in regular contact with Jeff Choate, Steve Sarkisian and Chris Gilbert, and he said the UT staff has done a really good job of developing a strong relationship without applying too much pressure.

“Their message to me is that they see what I can bring to them. With them, it’s not that they’re trying to get me to commit. It’s more that they want me to go to a place that feels like home, even if it’s not Texas,” Gullette said. “That just shows me that they care about me, honestly.”

Out-of-state schools are obviously in the mix here as his upcoming visit schedule would suggest, but Gullette did say there’s some draw to staying close to home at a place like Texas.

“I know if I go there, my dad and them are right down the road, so they would be able to watch me play,” Gullette said.

Texas also has an ally on its side in former Marlin teammate Jaray Bledsoe.

“He’s like ‘Man, just go ahead and commit,’” Gullette joked.

Gullette plans to drop a top five soon. Texas, Alabama and LSU are pretty much locks to make the cut, he said.

“Honestly, it’s just their passion and showing that they care more about the person than just the player,” Gullette said of the Longhorns. “The stuff that goes with it, like the academics, the environment, things like that - that really stands out to me.”

******

Keep an eye on recent punter offer Tyler White as a strong candidate to join UT’s class at some point, possibly even pretty soon. He’s going to consider whatever options come in, but I get the sense this one will come down to Texas and Texas A&M. If the Aggies offer, White will have a tough decision in front of him. If not, this one feels like it’s going to fall UT’s way.

Texas hosted its top target in the 2023 recruiting cycle for a multiple day visit last weekend, as 5-star QB Arch Manning made it into Austin on Thursday and left for home in New Orleans on Sunday.

To no surprise, Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns laid out the red carpet for the nation’s No. 1 overall recruit. It was the first time that Texas was able to host Manning since October, when the star quarterback visited for the Oklahoma State game.

Manning enjoyed his time on the 40 Acres and in the city of Austin. The trip marked Manning’s second unofficial visit this offseason, as he visited Georgia the week prior and is set to be at Alabama this upcoming weekend.

“They’ve just done a great job this entire time,” Manning’s head coach, Nelson Stewart, told Orangebloods. “What can I say? The way that they’ve recruited him has been great. He had an awesome time.”

The 5-star recruit used the opportunity to spend time in Austin, be around Texas Longhorns players and recruits, and observe the way that Sarkisian coaches. Texas DB Michael Taaffe hosted Manning on the visit. DeSoto receiver Johntay Cook was one of the several Longhorns targets in town, as well.

Another bonus in the Longhorns getting Manning back on campus, aside from the obvious reasons, was to show off some of the new facilities. Stewart noted that was something that Manning was not able to check out during his last visit to Texas.

“The last time that they saw the facilities, they were all wearing hard hats. So, it was great for him to see all of it,” Stewart said in reference to the renovations and construction on campus. “The facility, the installs, the meetings, the walkthroughs, the practice organization. He got to see it all and actually see them coach.”

Sarkisian and Longhorns QB coach AJ Milwee have made Manning a top priority since arriving in Austin. The two have been a constant at Isidore Newman School and are constantly checking in on the signal caller and his family.

The organization and overall attention of detail is something that stands out to Manning about the Texas staff. Being able to see a regular spring practice, instead of a scrimmage or a spring game, was important for the quarterback.

“I think the biggest thing is their great attention to detail. The energy, how they moved around,” Stewart said. “Obviously, AJ has a great relationship with him. Arch enjoyed the walkthroughs. AJ actually let him walk up and look at that. It’s the little things. He loved watching them work out. He liked the weight room.”

In addition to seeing the way that Texas operates in practice, the visit to the 40 Acres gave Manning the opportunity to be around some Longhorns quarterbacks of the past and present.

“He got to see Colt McCoy. He got to see Sam Ehlinger. He saw Quinn Ewers. Those little things matter,” Stewart told OB. “Overall, he just had a great visit. He got to be recruited. I think that’s the biggest thing. There’s no magic to it, it’s just the relationships.”

The city of Austin is another selling point that Texas has in its favor. Several students from Manning’s school have attended UT and/or have moved to Austin. Manning also told OB back in October that Austin has a “home feel” to him, with Stewart saying that Austin is like New Orleans in some ways.

“For them, it’s the full college experience. They’re not just talking about running through the tunnel, it’s Monday through Friday. It’s academics, it’s what you do socially. I think that’s the magic of Austin. Austin is a place that, no matter where you go, you want to go back,” Stewart said. “If you go to UT, you have a lot of pride in that.”

Texas has made a strong impression on Arch and the Manning family as a whole. There’s a reason why the Longhorns have been a constant in the recruitment for a while. The Longhorns are very much in the thick of the race, thanks in large part to how Sarksisian and Milwee have developed a bond.

Prior to visiting Austin, Manning was on campus at Georgia. The trip to Athens, according to Stewart, “re-affirmed the strengths” of the Bulldogs. Kirby Smart is coming off a national championship season and has done a great job recruiting Manning, too.

“There are similarities (between Texas and Georgia),” Stewart. “Great towns, great coaches. The energy and practice organization. You see why these schools are in it. (UGA offensive coordinator) Todd Monken and AJ (Milwee) are smart and focused on the right things. I think the visits just reaffirmed what’s important.”

Manning has no timeline in his decision process. Stewart explained that Manning will make a decision whenever he feels it’s right. He could announce at any moment if he feels a program is the best place for him, but he won’t set a date and hold himself to that if he is not ready or is not sure.

Texas remains in great position to land Arch Manning in its 2023 recruiting class. Rivals100 El Campo RB Rueben Owens and Rivals100 DeSoto WR Johntay Cook are just two prospects that could follow Manning to the 40 Acres if that does happen.

Manning is set to visit Alabama this weekend, with possible visits to LSU and Ole Miss afterwards.

***

Joining Manning on his visit to Austin was 2023 tight end Will Randle. Randle has a program filled with heavyweights from all over, including Texas. Similar to Manning, the Longhorns have made a strong impression on Randle.

Longhorns assistant coach Jeff Banks has prioritized adding the 6-4, 230-pound athlete to the current recruiting class that features 4-star DB Jamel Johnson and 4-star DE Dylan Spencer.

“He was really excited (about the visit). He got to see Jeff Banks, and Banks blew him out of the water,” Stewart told OB. “How hard he coaches the tight ends, Will loved it. He was beaming ear to ear and can tell that they’re building something special.”

While Manning is the headliner for obvious reasons, Randle is a quality prospect in his own right. Offered by Texas, Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, and others, Stewart believes that Randle is just scratching the surface of his high ceiling.

The Longhorns have recruited Randle as an individual prospect, not just grouping him into a pairing with Manning. That is an element that has Texas standing out.

“They’ve treated him separate (from Manning). It’s a whole separate recruitment,” Stewart said. “Everything’s been his own journey.”

Randle was a fan of spending time around Banks and the Longhorns coaching staff and of watching the Longhorns practice last Saturday. Like Manning, Texas is in a good spot to land to the 4-star tight end.

Some other quick recruiting notes…

2024 Duncanville DB Ka’Davion Dotson is a Rivals100 prospect, and he told OB that Texas and Arkansas are the two schools standing out to him the most right now. Dotson has been high on Texas for a while now, even before the Longhorns offered in January. He has a good relationship with Chris Gilbert.

2024 Rivals100 UT commit Aeryn Hampton is focusing on getting fellow Rivals100 prospect Derrick McFall to join him on the 40 Acres, The two East Texas recruits went to middle school together and are close friends. Hampton also wants to get Duncanville EDGE Colin Simmons, the No. 1 ranked prospect in the ‘24 class, to join him at Texas.

2024 IMG Academy DB Jaydan Hardy is from Lewisville, Texas, and he plans to visit the Longhorns at some point this offseason. Also a Rivals100 prospect, Hardy is a tremendous player in the secondary and talks highly of UT head coach Steve Sarkisian.

A new era of college basketball has dawned, and the transfer portal is the king of team building now instead of just high school recruiting. There are hundreds of players transferring, and depending on who comes back for the Longhorns this year, it will probably be another portal-heavy offseason to build a team that Chris Beard can advance with.

With the departure of Courtney Ramey, it will be important for them to go for guard depth as well, not just front court help.

Here are some of the top transfers out there – not all of them have talked to Texas, but I figured some of them you should know about, as a couple were Big 12 players.

Terrence Shannon Jr., G, Texas Tech (incoming junior)

TJ Shannon is a highly ranked transfer for a reason. The 6-6 sophomore shooting guard with legitimate NBA aspirations averaged 10.4 points per game and is an elite perimeter defender, a major part (along with Kevin McCullar) of Texas Tech’s extremely tough defense.

Michigan State and Kentucky have reached out to Shannon Jr, as well as a host of other schools. Don’t expect him to end up in Austin.

Nijel Pack, G, Kansas State (incoming junior)

Pack was one of the best players in the conference, evidenced by his all-Big-12 ranking at the end of the season. The 6-0 guard averaged an eye-popping 17.4 PPG in the toughest defensive conference in the nation, shooting a white-hot 43% from deep. He was arguably the best scorer not named Ochai Agabaji in the entire conference, not by points per game, but in his versatility on offense.

A team to watch here is Purdue, as he is an Indy native. Painter and co. recruited him hard out of high school. It would help ease the sting of losing Jaden Ivey to the NBA Draft.

KJ Williams, C, Murray State (incoming senior)

Williams entered the portal after his coach, Matt McMahon, took the LSU job after the firing of Will Wade. His teammate, Justice “Juice” Hill, followed McMahon to Baton Rouge, which could be Williams’ next destination as well. The 6-10 center prospect averaged 18 points and 8.4 rebounds per game as a major part of one of the best seasons in Murray State Racers history. The OVC player of the year, Williams will be one of the hottest commodities in the portal this offseason.

He’s heard from a number of SEC schools, including Auburn, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Texas A&M, as well as from Kansas State, Maryland, and Virginia, amongst others.

Mark Sears, G, Ohio (incoming junior)

Sears had 35 points in his last game with the Bobcats, against Abilene Christian in the first round of the CBI tournament. Though his defense isn’t generally considered to be very impressive, he’s an offensive spark plug that can come in and score in bunches. An excellent three-point and free-throw shooter, Sears hit 40.3% of shots from beyond the arc and an extremely impressive 88.4% from the stripe.

Texas has reached out to Sears; other schools that have also include Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Creighton, Miami, and a few others.

Sean McNeil, SG, West Virginia (graduate transfer)

McNeil, a solid three-point shooter at 37%, entered the portal after a tough season in Morgantown. He and Taz Sherman were the Mountaineers offense this past season for the most part, where he averaged 12.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists on the year.

Texas has reached out to McNeil, but Texas Tech could be an option here, as Mark Adams recruited him out of JuCo when McNeil was first entering the D1 ranks.

Fardaws Aimaq, C, Utah Valley (incoming senior) (I wrote about him last week, so here is what I said).

This 6'11, 245-lb center prospect averaged 18.9 points and 13.6 rebounds this past season at Utah Valley, where he transferred after playing for Mercer his freshman year. Aimaq is one of the best players in the transfer portal after posting a very impressive PER of 25, and despite not having great block numbers, was twice named WAC defensive player of the year, as well as winning POTY in the conference in 2020-2021.

Aimaq has already been contacted by several schools, including Kentucky, Texas, Arizona, Gonzaga, Texas Tech, and many more. He could be Texas' number-one priority this offseason, because he is a highly coveted player who would fit perfectly into the no-middle defense.

(Serenity)

If you've missed any of our player interviews with @Serenity Douglas and our team of OB football players, you can just click the following links below, but here are some of the football-related highlights that I thought would be of interest to everyone.

Jake Majors on last weekend's recruiting visits....

"Since it was an unofficial visit, it wasn't too big of a deal. Friday we had a chance to go to the golf tournament at ACC which was pretty cool. Got to watch some Longhorn alum go at it on the green and other recruits there hanging out. On Saturday they came to the practice and had a chance to listen to what we talked about, and show them the ropes of what goes on within the program. After practice they fed us bbq and food trucks and really made them feel like home. From what it sounds like coach flood has a good impression on everyone he recruits.

Majors on UT's recruiting pitch...

"Go to the best university with the best education and the best football program. I say education first because everyone knows UT for academics. Even though right now were not where we want to be for a power five university for football, I believe we’ll get there. But I always preach education first because football can only take you so far, and after that you need to rely on education. I also throw in there that you also want to play for the best coaches. I’m always around the offensive guys so I tell them how good Coach Flood is. "

Majors on the start of camp...

"I feel like we’re headed in the right direction, I think our energy at practice all three days was pretty high considering the workload that we’ve gone through. I think schematically everybody’s picking up on what they need to know when it comes to plays and the system that we’re a part of and overall I just felt that everybody “emptied the tank” which is what coach Sark usually says. Because we didn’t leave anything left."

Majors on whether the OL is physically improving...

"I think so, and the first day back with pads is always a little rusty because everybody’s getting back into the groove of everything. But yeah I feel like we’ve definitely had more “mean streak mentality” this week so far. That’s through dialogue I hear and reactions from other people knowing that we’re doing better in that aspect but let’s keep it going."

Majors on the pressure on the OL...

"Yeah I would say we’re taking everything more personally.. I feel like maybe last year we didn’t take it to heart after everything that’s gone the way it did last year I feel like we’re taking more personally and what we put on the field is a direct representation of who coach flood is, and we didn’t represent him the right way and he deserves better because he’s one hell of a coach so when we put our emotions into it and we know that what we do reflects coach flood and we truly love coach flood, we’re going to do the best that we can to represent him the right way and I feel like pressure is on everybody else because you know we had a bad season so we need to really prove ourselves…so I feel like every position took that personally last year, yeah there’s definitely been internal motivation."

Jordan Whittington on what he's specifically focused on...

"Leading my group vocally. I’ve been a leader by example but now I'm trying to be really really vocal. Also perfecting the deep ball. You know going to catch the ball way down the field."

Whittington on Troy Omeire...

"I would say the main thing is to keep him happy and also give him somebody that’s been through it and showing him the bright side of it because I feel like I’m on the right side of that.. Just having someone he could see as an example like okay he got through it and now look where he is no like just giving him an example somebody to look up to or something to look forward to. Letting him know he has people there which I’m sure he knows that because our room (WR) is really tight."

Ovie Oghoufo on the differences between Edge and LB...

"Playing edge is really like you know you’re kind of like a weak side defensive man, you’re on a d-line and it’s pretty much like the position like you’re on the edge of the defensive line. I like our defense because playing that position gives me like ability to unlock all different types of tools things needed like as far as pass coverage rushing the passer and then setting the edge on a run. Being able to get the ball around the corner. And then playing linebacker is more like off the ball, I’m more in coverage, i’m working more.. Working a lot with the db’s and outside backer to middle backer. "

Oghoufo on why there were holes in the defense last year...

"The first thing was communication and that’s a big thing on our team offense and defense is just communication off the field. Communication from the coaches to players, players to players and players to coaches. "
