Dumas (Ark.) tight end Will Gragg said he has talked to UT already this week and he will be in Austin this weekend for his official visit. Gragg also has visits to Ole Miss, LSU and Alabama on the schedule.
Missouri City Ridge Point linebacker Cameron Townsend is planning to be at the game on Saturday night. Townsend, who will make his decision in October, talked to Charlie Strong, Tommie Robinson, Vance Bedford and Brian Jean-Mary last night. Texas hasn't set up a date for an official visit yet but they've told Townsend they want to be the last trip he takes.
Huntsville OL Ronnie Major, a UT commit, was at the Horns' season opener and he'll be back this weekend. He talked to Joe Wickline on the phone yesterday.
Galena Park North Shore duo Tristian Houston (UT commit) and OL Tyler Moore (UT offer) will be at the game on Saturday. Houston talked to the Texas coaches this week.
Texas wide receiver commitment John Burt, out of Tallahassee Lincoln, talked to the UT staff yesterday. He hasn't yet set up a date for his official visit.
Dallas Skyline LB Anthony Wheeler, who told us last week he favors OU slightly over Texas, said Texas reached out to him yesterday and he talked with the UT staff. Wheeler won't be hitting any college games this week but said he'll be at the UCLA-Texas game next week.
Coppell OT Connor Williams, who holds a Texas offer, talked to UT this week. Awaiting a reply from Williams about possible visit plans for this weekend and any potential date for a UT official visit.
