Enjoyed an amazing dinner in downtown Austin tonight. This isn’t sarcastic at all - as I walked into my restaurant tonight, a homeless man pointed me in the direction of the door. I said thank you. No questions asked.
I will be voting to end the senseless homeless policies in Austin on May 1.
But despite my disagreement with the policy, let’s make it crystal clear that Austin still is an amazing city, with an amazing downtown area to socialize. I welcome Dan Patrick to come have a drink with me downtown tonight, rather than continue to treat our city like a third world country. And I will be voting for Greg Abbott in the 2022 election.
