With Texas losing out on former TCU DT Damonic Williams on Thursday, here's a look at the top interior defensive linemen options in the Portal.

1. Michigan State's Derrick Harmon (COMMITTED TO OREGON ON FRIDAY)

It feels like he's easily the best of the available bunch, as the 6-5, 320-pound Harmon was a 15-gamer starter for the Spartans and has 71 tackles, 35 quarterback pressures, 6.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks in his career thius far, which means that he brings the size and production you'd like to see in a player with two seasons of eligibility remaining. He's already visited Colorado and USC, while the likes of Ohio State, Oregon and a possible return to Michigan State loom as possibilities as well. A trip to Miami was cancelled

2. Michigan State's Simeon Barrow Jr.

The 6-3, 290-pound Barrow was a three-year starter for the Sparatns and has been a very productive player during that time, amassing 110 career tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks. He's a two-time honorable mention All-Big 10 player. The big issue right now is that is being projected to end up in Miami, so the Longhorns will need to act fast if they want to get in on him.

3. Kent State's CJ West

West is a 6-2, 315-pound fire hydrant who has been a three-year starter for Kent State before entering the Portal. He was rated as the top DT in the MAC by Pro Football Focus. Texas A&M is one of the schools that has offered West, along with the likes of LSU, Wisconsin, Indiana and Rutgers.

4. La-Monroe's Adin Huntington

Another former Kent State player, who transferred to La-Monroe a year ago and is now back in the Portal after earning second-team All-Sunbelt with 63 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks. According to TheAthletic.com, he has a 665-pound squat, a 435-pound bench press, a 38-inch vertical and a 4.44 short-shuttle.
