1st pre...post Strong Transfer ....CYA....

Is this a protest transfer? I would think he'd be transferring regardless of Strong. He couldn't get on the field at all.

A second-year running back who redshirted as a freshman … first career appearance in 2016 in UTEP game ... an all-state performer in high school … tabbed the No. 20 running back in the nation by ESPN as a senior in high school.

SOPHOMORE (2016)
First career appearance versus UTEP ...

FRESHMAN (2015)
Redshirted.

not sure if it is a protest transfer but why transfer before the last game. Guess he does not support the team or Charlie.

OU just fired our wrestling coach (Mark Cody) because of a lack of performance by our team, and we had multiple kids want to transfer out, including a returning All-American and one of the best 125 pounders in the nation. What made that puzzling to me is that the guy we hired to replace Coach Cody is the hottest and most sought after coach in the business, and one that specifically is known to be one of the very best for developing kids at the lower weights where this one kid is.

Why not wait to see who gets hired before transferring out? What if who's replacing a current coach is actually better for you than the coach you're transferring to? I get that there are a million reasons why kids transfer and who the head coach is is just one of those reasons. But why not wait until you have all the info before you make a decision?

Per multiple sites, RB Tristian Houston will transfer
this is not great for us and is also kind of stupid by him. Whatever Strong sees in Porter, the guy does not have the look of a first string back, Warren has injury problems, we don't have a RB in this recruiting class, and Strong is likely out. Kid would have a clean slate at being Warren's back up, and a play away from being the starter.
