2021 was the second-worst.
My favorite game was Oklahoma even though Texas lost. It was exciting as hell and Texas looked like the better team for a good part of the contest. The craziest thing is this: If Spencer Rattler had just played a LITTLE better and not been so terrible -- counterintuitively -- Texas probably wins the game because Caleb Williams might not have been inserted and caught fire so early. Weird thing to think about but Rattler sort of screwed Texas by sucking.
I need a refresher here.

The correct answer is very obviously Mary Ann.
The best thing about this OL group is that a lot of them have excellent feet and balance. Banks, Robertson, and probably Hutson most notably in that department alone. I know that Malik Agbo is this all-around athlete who can make one-handed catches and stuff, but his feet for what he's asked to do as an offensive lineman are the worst of the group.
While I think it would be incredible, I'm just a little hesitant to believe Texas could offer him the kind of job/responsibility that someone else could. I may be crazy, but I think Patterson is an awesome coach who could get some steam for higher-level positions than Texas could bring to the table once the bowl season is over. Now, if Texas could offer some kinda Associated Head Coach title or something, that would be a different story. I'm not entirely sure that's on the menu at this time though.
Left -- Banks, Angilau, Majors, Conner, Jones/Karic -- Right
By the end of the season, I could see Cam Williams and Neto having worked in somehow. I think Cam can play RT or guard. Neto looks like a guard to me.
I think Ewers will be the QB to start the 2022 season at Texas and if healthy, will remain so.
David Montgomery and Zeke unless both Tyreek and Kelce are both out at which point I really like Clyde. Who else are they going to get the ball to on offense?

2017 because that had a lot of Tristan Nickelson and Terrell Cuney stinkers. What season of deep dig grades was the most miserable to compile in your opinion?
2021 was the second-worst.
I think Texas will improve 2022 but I'm not going to give a W/L prediction until I see Quinn Ewers with my own two eyes. It will be improved, though, it has to be.Your projected outcome for Texas football in 2022
and your favorite game you covered in 2021 and why. W or L

Merry Christmas to you, too.Ginger, .. or Mary Ann. The never ending query.
Merry Christmas, AD.

These things take all kinds of turns so it's impossible to predict at this time. I have no direct knowldge of anything imminent. The fact that no one will shoot down the Brennan Marion rumors makes me believe he is strongly in play.@Alex Dunlap who gets hired as Wr coach
I am in too many leagues with all the "experts" leagues and stuff I'm ask to participate in, but I have two primary redraft leagues and two primary dynasty leagues that I truly care about. I'm in the semifinals as a 1-seed and a five-seed in my two redraft leagues. Missed the playoffs in one dynasty league (lost Akers, McCaffrey and Ridley this season) and in the semis of the other. How’s your fantasy football teams this year?
Home Alone and BBQ. This year I had to stand in line at Instellar all morning for tomorrow's food but I think it will be worth it. Got a huge aluminum pan thing full of a couple pounds of brisket, one pound of peach-tea glazed pork bellies, a couple pounds of turkey. Also some scalloped potatoes and mac n' cheese. Every Christmas morning I eat the same breakfast as well, ever since I was a little kid. Croissants and Meyer's Elgin Sausage Links. I like deer sausage better these days in general, but not on Christmas morning.Favorite Christmas movie and meal?
Aren't the Surfside beach jetties right by Freeport? You can fish the hell out of that area.Best places to fish around the Freeport area? Also, who out of the incoming freshman OL, has the best feet? And who's are a little slow?

Happier than a puppy with two peters. How excited are you about grading some new blood on the OL? Is that what you asked Santa to bring?
I just know I want Texas to have OU, Arkansas and Texas A&M each year, no exceptions. Let the hate run through everyone's veins.Let’s talk Pods! Future SEC scheduling options.
Two safeties or versatile DB types who can play safety, one linebacker who can play sam and inside, any number of edge-rushers you think could actually contribute but I'll say one for now, and one experienced OL (although I do believe a few of the OL coming in could be instant starters over even pretty good transfer talent). Maybe a WR.The last 5 spots for the class are yours to pick. More than individual players, what positions are you focusing on to fill?
Second one. You believe so much in Ewers’ ability that you are calling shot now … Texas in the Big XII Championship game for 2023?
Edit: You have to read the Caesar’s Palace Coup about the LBO, debt deal and financing deal. One of the best books in years. Especially for those interested in finance.
Do you think Gary P joins us?

A receiver is definitely a possibility, but as I've been saying on the podcast, good starting edge rushers don't grow on trees and they don't seem like the types of players who are abundant in the portal. Ray Thornton was supposed to be a guy that was brought in to help with this stuff last year and he produced miserably.Do we snag a starting edge rusher and WR In free agency?
I can't do 2023, we don't know who might join the program between now and then. Assuming no Devon Campbell in this class (which I don't like to do because he needs to be a huge priority, but just for the sake of this question):Starting OL for:
1st game 2022
Conference 2022
End of yr 2022
1st Game 2023
Same questions for QB
What did you see from Malik Murphy this year that gives you pause to him be a future star for Texas?
Left -- Banks, Angilau, Majors, Conner, Jones/Karic -- Right

Congrats dude. I think you're going to need Josh Allen to buck the trend versus BB this week and have him go off to Diggs, who BB will surely aim to shut down. They'll have no one else to focus on with Beasley and Gabe Davis out. If that can happen and Gibson can go 100%, you're live for sure. Mike Williams is sneaky as hell this week versus Houston, too.Edit: not expecting you to comb through the entire board, just peek at my team if you want/have the time, and losing Fournette hurt me
What do you think of my chances at advancing into the final round of this BB team on underdog? Top team advances.
These are the players I drafted that no one else did:
Yes, mixing in a sit in the infrared sauna with a big ass gatorade at some point before the shower. After a night of heavy drinking, is there anything better than taking a massive shit and then taking a shower?
Herbert(1) Kyler or Herbert?
(2) Need 2 from EE, Montgomery, Gibson, and CEH.
Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Hudson's, forever and always. I use the Marble Falls location, but they have a South Congress location as well. Weird as hell to see all the old boys lined up around the block in the Soco district waiting to unload deer carcasses around the back in the alley. The vac-sealing there is soooooo much better than anywhere else I've ever gone and the chorizo is legendary.Where do you get your deer processed? Always looking for new places
