Franklin meets the requirements of having coached in power 5 for at least 5 years and being successful and young. Most coaches don't meet this requirement and he is a legit hire candidate and not an unrealistic dream. If the Vandy rape stuff was legit Satet would not have hired him after Sandusky.

There just are not many HCs that have coached 5 years in power 5 and have winning records and also at cellar dwellers like Vandy and rebuilt Penn State coming off of NCAA sanctions. I just posted he obviously knows what he is doing to be so consistent, while winning 9 games and bowls at lowly Vandy in the SEC and at rebuilding State in the Big 10. I was just saying he should be consisdered because he might be more realistic than Meyer or Saban or Dabo. I also listed Franklin because he is just 44 and has done all this. He is on the same coaching curve as an Urban Meyer or
David Shaw in my opinion.

Who said I wanted Herman!?!? I don't want another unproven coach but to gage Franklin on just his numbers and not look at what he's done throughout his career is dumb. Just this year is he winning in his conference and that's great but it's just 1 year it's not like he has this pedigree of beating all his conference opponents down.
