Time will tell which is better, but in the last 8 days we are seeing what happens when a person who is accustomed to taking in information from people and making immediate business decisions is President. This is what good CEOs do. Set a vision and direct those below you to follow it out. Trust your vision and let naysayers complain. I am not saying that President Trump has chosen the easiest path, but this is an example of real executive leadership. Think about the business world when new leadership comes in to create a culture change. It isn't always pretty. But, truthfully, most businesses do not control the world. If anything, President Trump might just now be learning about the scope of his decisions. It must be an amazing thing to sign a piece of paper and have photos immediately online showing the suffering caused by your signature. Set aside whether it is the right decision to make, any human would be impacted by the power of one stroke of the pen. If he isn't, the world is in for a terrible 4 years.
