--- For those of you who have asked, here's the list of official visitors for this weekend. There are 19 guys on campus.
--- There has been some conflicting information floating around on whether or not Isaih Chambers made it in. I talked to someone this morning who is on campus and that person confirmed Chambers is in Austin on an official visit.
--- Not much to report just yet, but based on a couple quick text messages I've received, it sounds like the guys are having a good time, as expected. They'll hang out today, get a lot of time with the coaches and then hit the hoops game tonight.
As has always been our policy, I'm not going to bug the recruits too much while they're on their visits. I may grab a comment or two later in the day, but for the most part I want to let them enjoy their time in Austin without having to deal with me.
--- I have not confirmed this at all, but I did talk to someone yesterday who thought Eric Cuffee might be making a trip to Austin today. Cuffee's gone quiet on me but I'm sure it'll get out on social media if he does make it in.
--- There was some speculation on the board that TE Irvin Smith might be coming in for an unofficial visit. That is not happening. Smith and teammate Peyton Aucoin (UT commitment) had considered coming in together but their plans fell through and Smith is at Memphis on an official visit. I still like where Texas sits in that one though.
--- A little something to chew on ... I heard yesterday morning about the Isaiah Chambers visit and about noon on Southall's visit. I didn't put them out until later in the day because I wanted to get second confirmations on both guys, and I wanted to wait until I had finished doing some radio stuff and our podcast before putting it on the board.
I've got one more little trick up my sleeve that I'm sitting on. Probably can't say anything on it until after the weekend is over because the news isn't finalized yet, but stay tuned on that one ...
