Prior to Sark, we sounded like a broken record in complaining of our inability to recruit the big men. It even seemed like it wasn’t a priority with Strong and Herman. We only succeeded in DBs, WRs and RBs for the most part. Sark and Co has at least fixed the QB and OL. The one crucial missing component has really been the ClemsonBama/Georgia style defensive linemen. Do we currently have a future top 10 first rounder in the pipeline? January? Mitchell?, incoming ‘25 Sharma? I am looking at the DL rankings for the ‘25 class. The top 2 5* guys are from Ga. and the crystal ball is that both are headed to Ga. Weird thing is that Texas only has 7 DL compared to Ga’s 13 already on the team. Ga already has several 5* DLs. Why would these guys go to Ga? Would like to see Kenny Baker up his game on the DL recruiting. Okla is aggressively focussing on the DL. In comparison, bama has 12 DL on roster, FSU-8, FL-12, Mia-9, Tenn-13, blowU-11, aggy-10, Mich-15, Oreg-10, Oh St-13. This is not even counting the >1 #commits these schools have coming in with TX only 1 commit. Just a bunch of questions as I am trying to understand how we found ourselves with a DL shortage this year.

This cat is jr this year and is going to blowU 3x this fall and one is against TX in Dallas
