--- In case you missed it, Texas is hosting four players this weekend: DB Chris Brown, DT Jordan Elliott, RB Kyle Porter and DT Michael Williams.
--- Pretty quiet weekend so far. DT Michael Williams texted me that he's having a "great visit" overall.
--- I think Texas is the strong favorite for Brown and Elliott and the leader for Porter, although Arkansas is still in the mix there. People close to Porter don't even know where he'll wind up, but my guess is Texas. Williams is harder to predict ... hard to say if he'll stick with Stanford or flip to Texas.
--- I mentioned last week that I've heard good things about where Texas sits with DT D'andre Christmas-Giles. The Rivals100 member is visiting A&M this weekend and visited LSU last weekend. Those visits have done nothing to change my stance that Texas is the clear leader.
--- LB Dontavious Jackson took his official visit to Alabama this weekend, as expected. Per a source who talks to Jackson, he is expected to take an unofficial visit to Texas next weekend. I've said for a while that FSU was the team to beat unless Jackson made it back to the UT campus. That visit will happen and I'd say it's better than a 50% chance that the Longhorns win out based on everything I'm hearing.
