AAF

It's over. Under funded and the NFL had an objective. It will come out one day about the banks roll in this.

Does anyone doubt that the xfl is doomed before it begins?
The only chance they have is that the product is not supposed to be something along the lines of the NFL, yes it is football, but supposedly they are aiming for more of an entertainment value. They do have Oliver Luck running the show for them so that is a plus. Although the AAF has Polian running the football side of things for them. It all comes down to how serious are the investors about this thing. With the AAF the people who founded and the people who funded it weren't on the same page as to what they were looking to get out of it.

I’m not going to lie, I’m grateful for what Saint Stoops did for OU football but i am going to tune in, in hopes I do get to witness one of his players or a referee get him in a choke hold or give him an atomic wedgie or any other kind of rasslin’ shenanigans come his way

Well I was actually being sarcastic.

Gilbert signs with the Browns after his AAF stint.
Odds have to be pretty astronomical for an NFL team to have two guys from the same high school to be on same team.

And you don't think having a hometown kid in the locker room to keep his HS buddy company is a good idea? I think it's a great idea. Familiarity is always a good thing.
