My neighbor just had her AC systems inspected by a new company for annual maintenance. They told her that she has some mold growing in the systems (not sure exactly where) and that she needs to install a UV light in each system for $1800 a pop. I've never heard of that. Is she getting scammed? Can she just clean with bleach?
