Insects though- they're fvcked. And here's what they don't tell you- once the fungus takes over the insect, it doesn't live for much longer. And, it can't be passed from insect to insect.

I thought it could be spread in forms of spores..? Through insects only

It has to sprout. But by the time it sprouts, the insect is immobile and clamped onto a leaf.
