All of the rancorous garbage that I've read from some of you regarding Islam is sickening. I was born, raised, and confirmed an Anglican [Episcopalian] but have dealt with Muslims my whole life on a personal, and professional level.
What is your gripe with people who practice Islam? [Let me preface this by saying I'm talking about in AMERICA]
You guys belittle them and denigrate their religion, but how many American Muslims are littered in American jails? Aside from anomalous acts of terror are they the ones committing all of the gun violence? Are they the ones selling drugs? Gang banging? Are they raping women here? Adulterers? Sex trade? Are they the ones dependent on welfare? I don't have the figures, but I'm pretty sure per capita Christian's have them beat in every one of these categories.
Out of all of the people that I interact with, Muslims are some of the most enterprising, non confrontational people. They typically do well, go to good schools, and are net contributors to American society. They come from strong two parent house holds, do not cause a lot of calamity, and display model citizen behavior.
