To me, the current times seems inexplicably polarized, and I did a little searching and found this paper that laid out the roots of polarization in American politics. Insightful.
I found it a little bit comforting to see that this is not a phenomenon unique to our time. For those that are unable to find comfort, I suggest you start a silent protest by wearing boots to 'boot out' all incumbents. We at the Texas Boot Company can at least help you find comfort in a good pair of boots.
