The WSJ had a recent article titled “Flying was already the worst. Then America stopped using headphones”.
You almost don’t need to read the article as the title says it all.
I have noticed an increase in people making phone calls, listening to music, watching video, etc. without headphones. It used to be rare, now it is common. It has crept into restaurants and bars. It’s everywhere.
I realize the wireless earphones are expensive, but not the old school wire ones I use. So that’s not an excuse.
Maybe I am just old and I need to get over it, but I don’t want to listen to other peoples calls, music and video, especially when I am in a captive environment or paying for a meal while it is happening.
What say you?
