I'll let you know by the beginning of January.
I feel if you have to say it, then it probably isn't true. But I do think we are back.
Should have waited. Now every misstep will be mocked. There are serious concerns about our defense and are thin a multiple positions. It is very possible we take a step back this season.
2018 #3 2019 #3 currently 2020 #6 (going higher) 2021 #2 about right. We are back even if everything does not roll out smoothly. Recruiting is stellar and the East coast sports media has been put on notice. The win-loss differential is going to be above normal for about a decade.

I always say the best barometer of how good a coach or player is, is determined by how well they bounce back from their first RRS beat down. Now, Herman and Shane sprung back nicely but let's give these young fellas a test against that salty Grinch D and we'll resume this convo next year
Bell....that is an honest observation.....but you have to admit that us saying Texas is back and you saying the OU defense is back to salty is in effect the same damned thing.

no doubt in my mind that by the end of the year our D will be much improved....by the end....

I'm certainly not saying OU's defense will be better than last year but I am going out on a limb hoping it will be. If Grinch can get these players to muster up one more shoestring tackle per game than they did last year then that will move us from 100+ to about 90 anything better than that is icing on the cake.
It just isn't fair Bell.....all you have to worry about is whether your defense will be improved. Well, that and when is the correct time to rotate the tires on your house, but I have to worry about whether our offense will in fact be improved, whether we are blowing out our ass on defense being at least as good as last year, and our damned punter. I dont have to worry about my house because I went to all seasons last year.
