Are we really going to let Jay Norvell leave??

I understand he had a interview for OC. If he does not get that job are we really going to let him go? He is a better recruiter and he has taught our WR how to block.
 
There was a thing on LHN where he saw that the wrs couldn't catch. So he had them catching nerf balls or something.

He's right our receivers couldn't catch. The Johnson boys were here for four years. Beck, De La Torre, and I was pleasantly stunned that Bliuett actually caught the ball and took it to the house last week.

No wonder were recruiting so many receivers this year.
 
It's hard to judge him since he was immediately given the OC job which he wasn't hired for. I would feel bad for sending him out like that, but we are rebuilding the offense an that often comes with some casualties.

That's one thing Norvell did a great job at, teaching wr's to block downfield.

I was just sick when OU let Norvell go, and twice as sick when he ended up at Texas. What a huge, huge mistake for UT to allow him to slip away. Jay may be a better coach than Stoops and Strong combined. jmho
