I would have liked him back for at least 1 more year, but it is what it is.

I hate the one and done......

.No kidding. He seemed like a serviceable big guy who might develop given time. In other words, the prime example of a guy that will benefit from sticking around. I was shocked when he got hurt and a commentator said he was a border line lottery pick. Good for him, but there is no way he's ready for the NBA. If he can get first round money, good for him and I hope it works out.. Good luck young man.

they said the same about jarrett allen and myles turner. just because we don't use them correctly doesn't mean they're not good players. i would say, finances aside, it's best for him to get away from shaka asap in order to minimize the damage he can do. also, as stated above, "dolla dolla bills, y'all"

Yep, both Myles Turner and Jarrett Allen are doing well for themselves. Neither of them were ever going to be offensive juggernauts but they will get the alley-oops, the put backs, hustle dunks, and will be absolute monsters on the defensive end.

New NCAA rules allow a player to declare and work with an agent but can reserve the right to return to college. I doubt Hayes will come back but declaring doesn't have the same meaning as it did last year.
