Well not to good....looks like 2 years in a row they knock us out during the season we took care of them easily.....idk why our bats have died at the wrong time, but the Phillies bats get hot in playoffs for the 2nd year in a row. Our lack of pitching is hurting also our longhorn Bryce Elder got rocked starting in the 3rd. He hasn't been himself since after all star break. We supposedly have the best lineup in baseball but I'm not seeing it right now....I rather not want to see the Astros in the WS again, but I live in Dallas and definitely don't want the Rangers there either lol but my wife said if Rangers make the WS we are going I said you tripping. Good luck the rest of the way.
No need to bring it up.....all the teams with the best records in baseball done....I really thought we had a chance tonight Acuna couldn't even save it with bases loaded knock.....

In the American League we have two 90 win teams playing for the pennant.
In the National League we have an 85 win and and 84 win team playing the pennant.
The teams that won 100+ games were eliminated quickly. I have reservations about this. I understand more playoff games, lead to more tv money, and that provides more revenue for baseball. But does to many teams dilute the competition and with luck allows an inferior team like the Diamondbacks and now the Phillies are in for the second year lin a row? Just sayin
This analogy may not make sense to some but next year the playoffs will expand to 12 teams. For conferences that face an uncertain future like the Big XII and the ACC could something like this happen for them like it's doing for teams like Arizona and Philadelphia?

Yep. Astros are unbelievably good away from home. I think they’re below 500 at home.
the key to the Rangers winning is getting off to a hot start offensively. Keep scoring early runs and we are good. If we get into 0-0 or 1 score games going into the 8th were in trouble.
You know my Braves were up 3-1 against the Dodgers during the covid era and the Dodgers came back and took the next 3 and won the world series so it can easily happen again!

Exactly. His first game action in a long time. He can't be off much from rust or astros will run him out fast.

Last game was Sept 12 against the Jay's so this injury time frame was 4 to 6 weeks well we are just over 4 weeks
Agree. We opened up early on them and kept scoring when we had to. Pitching is a factor as usual in the playoffs.
