Listening to Statesman Hook Em podcast and heard a reference to an apparent fallout between Rod Babers and Mack Brown, that perhaps caused him to step away from his job covering UT football. Anyone know the story on this?

It started in 2013 because Babers was critical of the direction the program was going and called out some players by name.

Mack Brown was very thin skinned, he was a bit like Greg Popovich in this regard. Babers made a few statements that upset Brown and he lost favor with Belmont to the point of no longer being welcomed. It's a tough situation, hopefully things are better between Babers and the program.
