Shack sustained an ankle injury Friday. It is unknown as to sererity and length of time out.

I saw this on an official 24/7 site. The fear is that it is severe. I suspect news will be coming out all day about this

To wrap up Texas' injuries, Foreman, Warren and Shackelford all expected to play vs. Notre Dame, per Strong. LoJoe (hamstring) on crutches.

I told them I would be good...lol I been reading here and there oldhorn. I am getting fired up about this team. When I hear about players switching positions and not grumbling and just wanting to "help" the team I love it. That has been missing on our beloved Longhorns teams recently.

I really want to see this team compete against ND. I am anxious to see the QB of course...but the Oline and Dline are where Texas will win or lose I believe.

I hope we get a thread going about our predictions for the season soon.

I was overly optimistic about this year until I decided to take a long unbiased look at what we have going on. A slightly better record than .500 with a bowl game is where i think we end up. Improved but nothing special. I'm still rock hard excited about '17 & '18++ though. Inexperience in key positions and few soft spots will cost us a couple winnable games.
