Ehhh Baker is a decent QB but he’s not good enough to win a championship. That’s why the Browns are moving on from him. He had loaded rosters the last 2 years and only managed to win 1 playoff game.

I have to ask....What in hell do the Browns know about winning a championship? They are even dumber than the Jerraboys...That alone makes me think Baker must be really,really good....
I can tell you they have built a damn good roster and despite average to below average play from Baker the last 2 years they have managed to finally win a playoff game. Once Watson is able to play again they are going to be a really good team. They have had 3 good drafts in a row now.

The Chiefs went 50 years without winning a championship and now look at them. All it takes is finding that one QB that can turn your organization around.
The chiefs committed to winning by hiring Andy. As solid and consistent as they come. I'm partial to Andy as I've been a lifelong eagles fan. I was just pointing out the chaos which is the brown's organization. It is my opinion they had their man in Baker but, they just can't or want to comprehend. Baker's trade to carolina is just what he needs imo. An organization that wants to win.
KC is winning because of Mahomes and Reid. They are a good pair. Reid/KC would not have won a Super Bowl with an average QB. IMO Mayfield is an average QB. He's serviceable, but he's not going to take a team deep into the playoffs. He's too inconsistent and makes too many bonehead decisions.
Kc is winning because of the front office + Ried. I've said it already. The hate for bake on this board is hot. Baker wins, take the harness off the hate brother. Baker alone made the browns relevant.
That organization doesn't want to compete. Hiring watson? Cleveland's a turd bowl.
Mahomes is a damn good QB and is a big reason why KC is winning. You keep pushing Mayfield because he played at OU. He's just not a good NFL QB and acts like an immature a-hole.
Baker was 29-30 as a starter there. How exactly is that making them relevant lol
If he ever gets to play again. Baker got the Browns in the playoffs for the first time in decades. Had an injured year last year and not so hot. Will see how he does with the Panthers. Assume Browns have written off this season. Waste of talent.
There’s people saying Watson may not even get a suspension now. Not that I agree with that at all but that’s the word floating around. At worst he’s going to miss a year and be back next year.
Bakers record of 29-30 speaks for itself. You guys can defend him all you want but that record shows he’s average. The Browns have one of the best rosters in football the previous 2 years. Arguably the best offensive line in football as well.
That record speaks of the brown's organization mostly imo. Baker's fought hard to play the game he loves. I don't expect him to stop either. Carolina just might be the right fit. He's exciting to watch just admit it. 😁

Carolina’s roster is nowhere near as talented as Cleveland’s has been for the last couple of years. They will struggle to win 7-8 games this year. There’s no guarantee he will start either. They just spent a pretty high pick on Corral out of Ole Miss. He might take over at some point.
Baker deserves all the hate and criticism he gets. It’s karma for all those times he ran his mouth in college. He’s one of the least humble guys I have ever seen.

Question for 722: how long did Vince Young, the best Texas QB I have seen in the last 67 years, last in the NFL? Baker M. took over a terrible team, which did a good job in drafting quality players, and in 3 years won a playoff game. Last year not so hot. Will see what happens this year vis a vis Panthers.
He played 6 seasons. He was not in a good spot mentally by the end of his NFL career though. The worst thing that could have happened to him was Jeff Fisher being his coach. He was arrogant and didn't want to change his offense. You put VY in an offense similar to what Baltimore runs with Lamar Jackson and he tears the NFL up. Jeff Fisher just didn't use him properly.
