No energy or urgency from the players today. It wasn't just a matter of Shaka needing to change plays. Pitiful showing all around.
Sometimes its your day. BU threw up at least 3 prayers that went in --- that's when you know its your day. One observation - UT got a few turnovers, but too many times breaking the press resulted in easy buckets for Baylor. Shaka should've adjusted (2 cents from a non coach).
Lammert was wide-ass open all damn day along the baseline. There were plenty of baskets to be had from the softest spot of BU's 1-3-1 zone, but our guards inexplicably were content to just pass the ball back and forth above the arc and completely ignore what worked very well in Waco. Completely mind-boggling.
This team must have been reading their own press clippings of late. And then there was the incredibly lazy defense and dumb passing. Everyone but Cleare played like they were on quaaludes.
Baylor played very well, but we made them look especially good with our exceptionally poor play.

Yeah I couldn't believe how many times Lammert was wide open while Taylor and Felix just stood there passing it back and forth to eachother for the entire shot clock. I'm pretty sure Taylor was wanting Felix to rotate it to Lammert in the corner. That's why he kept passing it back to him, but Felix never even bothered to look that way. Just kept throwing it back to Taylor until they were forced to jack up a desperation three. Frustrating to watch.
