Changed his commitment today from SMU to Baylor. Didn't see that coming. I did think he was a P5 qb though.

I think I remember his dad Robert Brewer. He was a good qb for us in 1981 and '82. He qb'd our team to the Cotton Bowl and lead us to a come behind win over Bama and the great Bear Bryant. No doubt the biggest win of the Akers era.

Let's hope the apple didn't fall to far from the tree.

I'll just point out that our best player thus year and possible 1-2 round draft pick was a 2 star recruit who was only recruited because we were after his brother(the higher rated guy). I know we all want the big 5 star guys that make news. But don't be a slave to the recruiting ratings. If Herman thinks guys can play bring em in.

BU's my school. T-shirt UT fan. From the BU side - we went from a commitment from Kellen Mond, the No. 1 dual threat QB in the country, who would be coming in to back up Stidham for 2 years, to battling SMU for recruits. What a change from a year ago.
