Question that happened at a high school game last night. Defense intercepted a pass as the 1st half time ran out and scored. But refs called an illegal Block on the defense. Ruled the half over and no touchdown. Right call? I thought a half couldn't end on a penalty.

Only if it’s a defensive penalty without the change of possession. The change of possession ends the half after the penalty.

Baylor could of ended that game if the qb would of thrown the ball to the open receiver instead of keeping it and running it for the first down which he came up short. Baylor would of ended the game there.
