Man this coming Saturday has 1 lousy matchup after another. What's the prime time matchup this week? They're going with MSU/ tOSU. What ESPN couldn't get enough of tOSU I mean they had them last week. The other matchup in prime time is GA/TN. They can not be serious. But sad as it may be they are.

I guess the best matchup is Auburn/FL but in not going to watch. A team I hate is going to lose but a team I hate is going to win. I'm no fan of Brad Nessler but at least he won't call Bo Nix a legend in the making like Fowler did. In fact Fowler said it twice in 1 minute when Auburn beat OR in the last 10 seconds. And at least CBS won't show Bo Nix's dad sitting in the stands a 100x.

Out here in the West Coast the best matchup is CA/OR a few days ago I thought it was good matchup but now I know better.

Baylor/ KSU no not really. Neither team is as good as their w/l record.

IA/MI maybe. All these years it seems like IA coach Kirk Ferentz is a decent fella. Everyone knows how I feel about Jim Harbaugh. I would love to see JH suffer another blowout on national tv. But this time it will be in Ann Arbor.

So that leaves us. You know Steve Levy has a decent play by play voice. You wouldn't know it because he's surrounded by Brian Griese and Todd McShay. Molly McGrath will also be there and she's actually better than TM.

One last thing there's a new ESPN play by play guy named Jason Benetti. First of all he does those late night Pac XII games that only Pac XII fans watch. But this a guy you want to succeed. He's been a baseball guy for the Chicago White Sox. But he's worked on other sports so he's worked hard to get to college fb. But Jason Benetti has cerebral palsy. He's worked hard and has succeeded despite it. How can you not pull for this guy? He wasn't bad the one game I saw and it would be great to see a man like this rise to the top despite his disability.

That is all

I think OSU vs Tech is interesting. However, I think OSU will cover the 10 point spread.
TCU at ISU seems like a good matchup. It may be low scoring and boring. But, still an important game for B12.

Who on here thinks OK will cover against KS?

I'm not a big fan of laying lots of points on a favorite on the road. 0U will probably cover though, but I'm not going to play it. So far, playing over on their team totals has been gold.

Sh!t I misread scoresandodds.com.

I would have sworn on a stack of bibles it said k state. Definitely my bad. Shame on you Clob!

It's OK/KS. Although KS surprised everyone when they beat BC they've gone back to being KS. If they set it at 42 OK would still cover. Hey, I was trying to be funny about 32 points.
Turned out to be only a 25 point win.

Who was it on this board that chastised me for saying TCU and Gary Patterson was Bob Stoops Lite in his twilight years? TCU continues to TCU. Also when will people stop getting on Auburn's nuts only to be let down too. Seems to happen every year with Mahlzahn, his team is destined and then conference play starts......

What in the world is Ohio St. doing with their uniforms/helmets? If you turn that game on and didn't see the score ticker you would have no idea who was playing Mich St.

tOSU is among the few blue bloods and one thing blue bloods have in common is they never change their uniforms. Think about that for a minute. TX, OK, PS, and the other 6. But tOSU has sold out their classic uniforms for Nike. And when you sign with Nike you have to wear a bunch of different uniforms and none of the look good. I mean have you seen those mustard unis OR wears? Guess Who went to Oregon? The Nike pres Phil Knight.

I didn't mean to go off on a rant. OK has made some minor alterations most of the time it's wearing white helmets that they wore when Bud Wilkinson was there. One thing Longhorn fans can be proud of is that even though they have a contract with Nike they've never changed their unis not even for 1 game. And for that I'm sure Longhorn fans are grateful.
