I doubt this deserves its own thread but honestly I don’t care
Texas is a legit blue blood in baseball. Aggy had spent much of their miserable existence playing down college baseball and how it doesn’t matter, as a way to salve the pain of us making regular Omaha trips and multiple championships.
Well they finally get to the altar and have been foaming at the mouth about baseball all season. To then lose accomplishes 2 things:
1. They remain a nobody in baseball
2. They can’t with a straight face say it doesn’t matter now
Best of both worlds. I just was around enough aggy talking up their team this year that it grated on me biggly
