I alluded to some of the issues driving this in my "Coming Fuel Catastrophe" thread. Well, the Biden Administration is now begging oil companies to open mothballed refineries. Many mothballed refineries have been permanently shuttered due to expensive environmental regulations and a forecasted reduction in product demand. Just think of the level of incompetence we are seeing out of this administration. Jennifer Granholm is a law professor.
