The DNC. Trump solidified the support of his base by engaging in their dreamed of attack on Clinton. In an environment of panic over the Billy Bush tape, he rallied his troops and I suspect they will be back in the fight today. The problem for the RNC is that they were 1/2 way through cutting ties with Trump. Now what do they do? The re-energized Trump base is going to be furious with those swing state Republicans who bailed on Trump. Will they support these candidates in November? I doubt it.
IMO Trump did nothing to improve his chances of winning the presidential race, but like the good narcissist that he is, he will now take the waffling Republican Congressional candidates down with him.
