So you have Baylor with a 10-2 record and #10 ranking but they are also listed in your top 5 teams on the decline???
Baylor is going to get off to a good start because of their pathetic OOC and easy big 12 opening contests. After that it's all down hill. I will be shocked if they are ranked at the end of the season.
IMO, you are underestimating Okie St.
I agree, BU "could" potentially lose 4-5 games based on their depth or lack there of. I don't think the Pokes are above average in terms of the typical poke team, they squeaked out some wins last year that won't fall their way in 2016.
Based on current rankings per the AP, I think OU is over valued and TCU is under valued. People don't seem to realize how injury stricken that TCU defense was last year. They are going to be stout on defense and they wont have any problem scoring points.
I'm not calling them a sleeper, but TCU is my dark-horse to win the Big 12 title.
WV is over valued and has lost a bunch of key personnel to injury .
My picks:
1. TCU or OU @ 11-1 or 10-2
3. OSU 8-4 I think they may actually be in the mix with Texas and Tech
4. Tech or Texas 8-4, 7-5 but have 5-4 conference records
6. Kstate or WVU or BU 6-6, 7-5, 8-4
9. ISU 4-8
10. KU 2-10
I personally think the middle of the pack gets a little crowded this year as for as wins and losses are concerned.
Since we are on a Texas board, I think Texas gets a minimum of 4 conference wins and as many as 6 overall. WVU, ISU, KU and BU are my 4 with coin flips at Lubbock and at Stillwater. The little apple and KSU are purple kryptonite....
