Who is BR?
I agree but I mean, it is the title of the thread.Guys, when posting about recruits and players in general, please post first and last names. This takes the guesswork out of who is being discussed.
Since then, The Fong (Steven Witfong) and several others have put in crystal balls in Texas' favor. Witfong, for those that don't know, rarely puts in a speculative CB, he waits until things are pretty certain. I will say, he hasn't been as great at this recently.tosu mod is saying br is not picking Ohio state.

But the abbreviation was in the first post...I am with Clob on this one.....this bunch(meaning us) has shown little ability to stay on topic of the thread at any time, so no wonder we might not know who is being talked about....I dont know about Clob, but my attention span does not allow me to remember the title of a thread past the first post anyway.....
Plus I think I was still drunk this morning. The beer Wench ran into the laundry Wench last night and I had to drink profusely. But the abbreviation was in the first post...
I'm just pulling y'alls legs. I do agree with MM, abbreviations can be hard to follow particularly for folks who don't follow the recruits closely or aren't up on Longhorn sports message board lingo (BOMC, tOSU, Uncle Red, etc.) so I try to avoid them for the most part.
Check out his Junior senior highlights here for some real football action. He's a smooth runner, makes quick cuts and gets north and south in a hurry. Has speed to outrun defensive backs. Good power and balance. Certainly has the tools of a 5 star RB.The subject player we are discussing in this thread looks like a stud to me in that 5 star challenge video
What Texas HS football equivalent does he play at in Arizona? Obviously his testing and camp numbers compare with anyone in the country, but I am always leery of a guy who on film just blows everyone away. Is it because he is that good, or is it because the competition is bad?
This is not trying to be an indictment of Bijan Robinson as he looks to have all the tools.
BOOM!
I like what I see with Robinson and with a yr or 2 in the UT S&C program he's going to look like a Greek statue. It's waaaay early to make any judgments on this guy but I'm thinking potentially a slightly faster Ced Benson type of back.My comment about the competition was due more to a lack of ability on my part to look at film and be able to tell if a dude is a dude or not. That is why I was asking about the competition. I knew based on the film, that Robinson was the best player on the field, but I couldn't tell all the ins and outs of things such as his ability to cut, bend, field vision etc.
Everything I have seen on him from all of the camps and things of that nature, it doesn't matter what level of competition he is going against, he is going to be a dude. So hopefully he commits to the good guys on Thursday.
My understanding is that Arizona football basically has a handful of schools that concentrate all the top talent. I would be curious to see his film against some of the other top schools - that would be pretty telling.I like what I see with Robinson and with a yr or 2 in the UT S&C program he's going to look like a Greek statue. From the look of all the other kids sizes & the crowd size of the games in his videos I'd guess he plays in a 3-4a league comparatively. Yeah I know, very scientific method used here.
I've done a little digging. He plays 4A ball in Az, they go up to a 6A division. His stats are pretty absurd which may be partly due to competition (it almost always is at the high school level to a degree). The most telling game is probably the state championship against Saguaro - a team that has won state 5 years in a row now. Bijan looked human but even though his team was outmatched (lost 16 to 42) he put up 155 yds on 27 carries for a 5.7 YPC. By far his lowest of the season but it puts into context what he can do against even top competition.I like what I see with Robinson and with a yr or 2 in the UT S&C program he's going to look like a Greek statue.
