Bowl game predictions???

Not sure,but seems the Texas boards predict doom and gloom for the horns with all the injuries and missing players so I will go against the grain and state if the OL WILL GIVE THE QB's a little time we can pass and move the ball down the field,the defense will make key stops and Herman does not lose much in Houston.we can win,
Lots of things have to go right for Texas to win this game. Continuity along the o-line and secondary is key because of the new guys starting in new positions or guys that just lack experience. With that being said. I believe the o-line has success against the Missouri pass rush and Texas can take advantage of the poor Missouri secondary as well as just enough success on the ground to have rhythm and score enough points. On the defensive side. Orlando has his work cut out for him. With the suspensions and NFL draft and injuries, we will see if Orlando can scheme the Texas defense into success. I feel the players on defense have the talent to be successful but mentally I feel they are a little behind (meaning young and inexperienced in key positions). I feel like I’m undermining a powerful Missouri offense with my prediction but I will say.....

That would be an embarrassment similar to Chuck's first Bowl game. The fellas that like to compare squads and coaches will have so much fun with that.
At least Texas beat three 7-5 teams with KSU going 8-5 last night. MIZZOU beat a few shitty teams.
Their streak of wins... 4-8 Idaho, 3-9 UCONN, 4-7 Florida, 4-8 Tennessee, 5-7 Vandy and 4-8 Arkansas!

Still sticking with my prediction of a 38-17 Mizzou win.

I saw that the other day and was like "So lemme get this straight........." and then launched into a fvcking 5 minute tirade with a lunch table full of associates at a Christmas meal.
Suffice it to say, I was told I was overreacting........ So don't get me started again.
You're overreacting apparently how I was when speaking about team members choosing to not play in a bowl game.
12 starters out between offense and defense playing a team that’s been playing well... Mizzou wins and pretty convincingly. Texas feels like one of those teams that doesn’t really wanna be in the bowl game, but MiZZOU the opposite.
That self reflection that comes when you lose to mizzou also happens to come when lose to us these days.
They aren’t “good” but they are probably better than we are at this point in time. They have a solid QB to.... something we probably don’t have at this moment. Plus to the extent we had an offense Carter and lil Jordon were a big part of it. One thing you can always count on to with a Mizzou is a pretty solid D
The only upside to this game is they don't have their OC. So I guess that's equal to us not having 12 starters playing? LOL!
Maybe we can loan them Beck for a game.
Mizzou’s D is hot garbage, but they’re only going against our O, so it won’t matter.
That’s probably an exaderstion. 88th in total defense nationally and much like the rest of the team much better later in the season than the first half.
They played broken teams down the stretch. Florida fired coach, Tennessee fired coach, Arkansas fired Coach, Vandy oh ah it's freakin Vandy.
It's two shitty teams in a 6-6 bowl game.
Texas will not have Elliott or Jefferson AND THEY PLAYED JUST FINE WITHOUT HILL FOR THREE GAMES, but they'll have PJ Locke back and Gary Johnson to play the Malik role. On offense they won't have Carter, Lil Jordan or Williams...Use the hell out of Young and Ehlinger can run the ball if needed. E Rod will play LT.

Hot garbage at the beginning of the year for sure. Or maybe Swiss cheese made out of butter (lots of holes to run through plus no real grip when not in one of the holes).. We started with a lot of young guys. We've gotten better, but I think Arkansas made them look pretty bad with a lot of big plays. Secondary is still suspect, but you have to block the front 4, make the read, make the throw and catch the ball.
Take a look at Missouri's schedule and who they've beaten, which is not impressive. I'm not even sure who to say is their best win since all of their wins are against terrible teams. Not saying that Texas is a good team either. This is simply two bad teams playing in a bowl game.

Arkansas was the best win. They weren't a great team, but they had some talent on the roster and played hard for 4 quarters.
Ultimately you can't blame Mizzou for the weak late season competition. It's not like they just scraped by against the bad teams. They destroyed them like a good team should. You can blame them for some of the absolutely terrible play early in the season, but they seem to have fixed most of that. Mizzou isn't a great team, but they are solid. It should be a good game tonight.
Mizzou scores a lot of points in their wins against crappy teams. Texas is not capable of scoring as much as Mizzou.
I don’t really care about teams schedules. They can’t do anything about their conference schedule. It’s not their fault that Florida, Tennessee, Vandy, and really the entire SEC was bad outside of UGA, Bama and Auburn.
It’s kind of funny how the schedule gets used against some teams but not others. Look at Bama. The best team they played was Auburn and lost. 2nd best was Miss State and miss state just couldn’t put them away, but that never seemed to hurt them at all in rankings.
All I know is Mizzou got off to a slow start, and since have ripped off 6 in a row which is more than we were able to do. Not sure we won more than 2 in a row. I also know they are capable of scoring points and let’s be honest if they can manage 24 were probably screwed

Texas needs to dink and dunk and take what defense gives them and use up all the play clock every play to win time of possession and keep Missouri offense on the sideline. Also we can't afford any turnovers . When Missouri has the ball make them execute and not give up big pass plays and we need to win special teams battle! Texas 31 Missouri 28 Hookem Horns!
