Kansas and Tech. Against Tech unfortunately both will probably be playing for a bowl, so they aren't going to just give up, but hoping that the Tech staff basically being dead men walking will give us the advantage to actually pull out the W.

Don't think we have much of a shot against WVU. They are good enough to outscore our 17 point ceiling this offense has against them.

I don't know his contract situation or the staff's so that is certainly a possibility. Seems like he's been there for 5 years or so, unless they extended him I wouldn't think his hit would be that large. I could see Tech keeping him regardless as they know they don't have the luxury of the pick of the litter, so those types of programs have to ride out their mistakes.

I'd like to stay at a hotel where I will find Texas fans staying. Can you help me with the names of those hotels? Is there a bar or two where Texas fans will be hanging out on Friday night, and after the game on Saturday? Thank you for the help.

Sorry, I haven’t lived in Austin since the Spring of 2006.
But, when I was there Texas fans were at the bars & clubs on 4th, 5th, & 6th streets on Friday nights.
Can someone provide better help? Thanks.

Any hotels downtown. Plenty to choose from. Sholz Garten is a bar where a lot of fans gather before/after the game.
