Has anyone on here have any family members that have had RNS brain surgery and can tell me what it's like?
I have a family member who has Epilepsy and she is trying to decide between VNS or RNS procedure.
She's done her homework and knows VNS has about a 30% chance of getting rid of seizures, but RNS has like 90% chance of getting rid of all seizures.
RNS is more invasive than VNS, but she thinks it's worth the risk.
She's tired of having to live with seizures and wants them to stop so she can get her life back.
