California moves to become a "sanctuary state"

As a supporter of state's rights, this scenario presents a whole new set of issues that cause second thoughts. While I believe a state should determine it's own direction, I do also believe each state assumes conditions when accepting Federal taxpayer funding.

To stand in direct opposition to the Feds deservedly brings about forfeiture of those funds as a consequence of that defiance.
