Nueces, correct me if I am misunderstanding your posts in this thread, but you are saying some things that appear to be quite racist.
Are you suggesting that because some black football players at Baylor raped someone (or Mixon punched someone) that means we need to be wary of all other black football players before we "offer up" our daughters. Yes, let's play close attention to the young men dating our daughters but it is overtly racist to be using their race as a means to determine their acceptability as boyfriends.
I didn't realize newspaper articles and video surveillance were racist. Violence against women is no laughing matter nor is it something to be ignored. I didn't say anything racist. If you want me to cite newspaper articles concerning me, my family, or friends that are similar to the ones posted, I will. I'm sorry that you and your family have personally dealt with crimes committed against you and I can understand why it may shape your perception of others. I don't agree with your portrayal of black football players as violent rapists. Joe Mixon, yes. The Baylor players, yes. They have earned that description based on their actions. But using their actions to judge all black football players is unfair and racist. The portrayal of blacks as violent and hypersexual beings has been rampant for hundreds of years and has been used to justify racist beliefs, actions and even political policy. Please don't continue to spread that narrative.
I didn't imply that they "all" are violent rapists. Never said that. I did imply that for women there is a risk when dealing with black athletes. The stats are out there and I can post them. Tom Herman said that I need to forgo those risks and send my daughters out to do their duty. Sorry, he is a stupid pos and deserves his termination when it comes. As a father and a business person, I am always assessing risk. I am sure as a doctor you are doing the same.
My wife claims to be pure as the wind driven snow when it comes to race, yet when we drive in bad neighborhood she is quick to lock the doors. Me, not so much, I can defend myself and I don't mind talking to anyone but when it comes to women, they are weaker physically on average and easily exploited.
